I'm a big fan of conventions. Doesn't matter what its for, but I especially love nerd related conventions. I believe I got spoiled with Phoenix Comic Con, but it's unfair to compare to the two, since they are on different levels.
It wasn't what I expected, but I had fun, Kai loved the attention she got dressed up as Belle. We bought lots of stuff, more prints for the wall, and spent the time going to panels and learning this and that. I had the most fun just walking around and seeing all the beautiful costumes.
Kai got to decorate a cupcake at the My Little Pony Tea Party. It was alright, the event it self was fun, but we got stuck at a table full of "I'm too cool to be here" people. Should of sat somewhere else in the beginning so it was my fault. Just wish some people would censor themselves when there are children at the table. I highly doubt my kid needed to hear about what they did over the weekend!
All in all, It was fun, I would go back. Next year it will be closer to home and all indoors!
